In and around Felanitx the typical cuisine is farmer's food. Agricultural products mainly combined with pork and less frequently with lamb or veal make delicious dishes.

  • Sopes Mallorquines: This bread soup is made from vegetables of the season, fine bread slices, oil, water and salt.
  • Tumbet: Consists of aubergines, peppers, potatoes, oil, salt and tomato sauce. In combination with meat or fish.
  • Escaldums: Chicken and potatoes with a sauce of pine seeds or almonds and raisins.
  • Coca: Wheaten flour, oil and water, garnished with vegetables, fish or peppers.
  • Trampó: Salad of tomatoes, peppers and onion, with olive oil and salt.
  • Porcella Rostida: Backed suckling pig served with potatoes and artichokes.
  • Pa amb Oli: Bread and olive oil, with salt and rubbed string tomato.
  • Ensaïmada: Sweet pastry made from lard, flour, eggs, ail and water. Some are plain, others filled with jam, cream or sobrassada sausage.
  • Sobrassada, Botifarró, Llonganissa and Camaiot are pork sausages flavoured with different spices.
